Programs with comprehensive accreditation cover all standards in the National Standards for Sport Coaches (version 2 or version 3).

Programs with domain accreditation applies for programs accredited (or re-accredited) before January 2020. These programs address 1 or more domains of Version 2 of the National Standards for Sport Coaches. Domain Accreditation is no longer offered as of January 2020; programs that would have met Domain Accreditation requirements should now seek Core Responsibility Recognition.

Programs with comprehensive recognition cover all standards in the National Standards for Sport Coaches (version 3).

Programs with Core Responsibility Recognition cover 1 or more core responsibilities of Version 3 of the National Standards for Sport Coaches.

Recognition was launched in January 2020 and only applies to programs after that date. Programs already into the accreditation process before this date were able to pursue Domain Accreditation instead of Core Responsibility Recognition.
